Hi All,
I am a B.Tech Computer Science graduate, I have almost 3 years of work experience in Non-IT field.
Now I am trying to change my career to IT stream but I cannot put my current work experience to the IT field. So, I am planning to do SAP-ABAP and change my career to IT.
Here, my question is are there any openings for Freshers on SAP-ABAP?
If NO, can you guys please suggest me the correct way how to shift to IT filed
Please help me in this.
Regards,
Manju

Hi, There are 2 ways to get a job in SAP in INDIA, both of them are pretty tough, and need to risk good time and money.
1) You have to get Certified to be given a chance as a fresher (in SAP) in some good companies. But again as with every good institute placement's depend on how well the student is prepared for the interview.
2) Search for companies who are ready to hire a non-fresher who has a zero SAP realtime experience but with good SAP knowledge.
Hope that helps

HI Manju,
you want a get job in SAP my best suggestion go for certification and they will give training and placement assistance
once you cleared the certification programme and dont waste time its precious also if you are good at subject and basic concepts you choose this option
most of the companies looking for at least 3 years of experience now,Many MNCs at least once in a year they will ask people who are having non IT experience along with one year SAP experience OR Non IT experience along with certification.
check everyday and weekly walk ins for ABAP openings in job sites it will give you clear information for your query.
Regards,
Krishna.
