Hi Experts,
I have worked as an ABAP developer for an year . Now I have an oppurtunity to cross train and become an SAP FICO Consultant,
Do you people think its a good switch? Considering the fact that an MBA in Finance is what I have in mind some years down the lane? so whether SAP FICO would give me some value for that MBA ?is it a true story?
Please give me an insight, as I am in two minds and confused.

Hi,
First of All be happy for being an ABAP Consultant. As you aware that entire R/3 works on ABAP language. Its always good to work in ABAP.
If you really get an opportunity to work in SAP FI/Co, don't loose this opportunity. It's also a wonderful module.
MBA Finance+SAP FICO - A very nice Combination
Being a FI/Co Consultant, you should have a great command on Finance topics....

Do you like to accept challenges? Are you good with numbers? Do you like your current job? Do you have any prior experience with FICO you could build on? How difficult would that be for you to change the "career course"?
There are too many questions you must answer before you can decide. You either tell more about yourself or tell where our hearth goes. Because you cannot "outsource" such important decision:))
