Switching from SAP Business One to SAP ABAP

Dear All,

I am a SAP Business One developer , I have 3 years of Exp in SAP Business One, Now would like to Switch to SAP R3 , I want to be a ABAB developer, But If i learn abap All my 3 years Will not be considered as Experience since ABAP is different from SDK Coding, What is the Best Carrer option for me, Will my SAP Business One experience will help me to get a Job in SAP ABAP

Hi, rahman_sap.

It will consider only when the time of integration between R/3 to R/2.in this situation only B1 experience will help full other wise it won't be consider the experience.so decide your self if you want shift to ABAP or not ?

Hello,

I have developed at least "something" in both systems. They have nothing in common except the SQL:)). With your experience with B1 I would try to find some Java developer (like Java WD) position rather than start with ABAP. But ABAP can be learnt as well, it is like a PHP or something like that... When I started with ABAP with previous experience with Java, C++, PHP, Delphi, .NET I was disgusted but after 3 yrs of experience I know why things work the way the work.
