Suggestion On MM Module certificates

Hello People

I am Dhanejeyan.. working as Supply chain analyst for automotive with SCM Analytic and PG degree for 5 years and overall 8 years exp.

I was asked by to get my self trained in SAP BI ,for which i approached regional SAP center.

they asked me to go for SAP MM module since its my DOMAIN.

I have Minimal SAP end user on daily work but i do have the knowledge on SAP used in my Company.

After reading  number of posts in this forum , my question are

1.How bright/prospect of this module considering next 10 years or so?

2.without project implementation experience is advisable or not to do certification?

Please help me in this regard

Dear Dhanejeyan,

Technical always changes. At first ABAP was there then BW came and then now HANA came.

So no one can predict future.

For Technical, demand always changes.

Since you have SCM domain knowledge go for SAP MM.

If you are getting trained by SAP Partner then you can clear SAP Certification.

You can not apply for certification without prior experience if u r in India.
