Solved: Starting with SAP GRC - How to proceed ??

Hi all,

I went through the previous posts in order to see if I can find information related to my specific question.

I have experience in GRC and Security topics and would like to start with SAP GRC.

Which trainings, books, documents, sites do you suggest in order to have a good starting point? I don't have any SAP experience.

Does it make sense or is it mandatory to attain trainings for access control, process control, risk mgmt etc. or can I use other sources for a start?

I appreciate any tips and hints - sorry if this was answered already somewhere else, but I couldn't find anything.

SAP websites has a lot of information but it's somehow confusing (which modules, where to start, what comes first, what next etc.).

Hi Umit,

As you are already aware of GRC and security, you can start with Access Control and further Process Control ,Risk Management etc.

To start with Access Control, please go through consolidated list of useful link has compiled.

Going forward,you can look into GRC community page for Process Control and other module document.

Umit,

beside all the documents available on SCN and Wiki it is also helpful to attend official SAP trainings. Please see training.sap.com and search for "GRC". The course GRC300 is a good start for AC 10.0 implementation and very helpful.

After attending the course you will have a good overview of GRC and specific questions can be asked in the community.

I went through the training descriptions several times and couldn't identify the ones to start with.

But after the useful replies I received here, I will start with Access Control 10.0 topics and the GRC300 training.
