Hi Guys,
I want to switch my career from Oracle to SAP. Is it possible to start with any Functional Module of SAP other than any Technical one? I have some knowledge about AP, AR, GL, so can I start with FICO without the prior knowledge BASIS/ABAP or any other technical module?
Please suggest me which will be the best module to start with SAP. I am totally confused from where to start.
Waiting for your responses
Thanks

Hi Kamalendu
You do not need to know System Administration (Basis) for a Functional Career. However, you will excel more in SAP if you get an introduction to System concepts (such as configuration, transports, tables, etc).

Hi Kamalendu
As a starter you can look at Learning Hub discovery edition (it's free) - http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-51591
After that, I would recommend you go to the Training and Education SAP website for your country and investigate study options. If you look the the Careers, Training and Certification spaces in SCN you will see your question asked and answered a few times.
Good luck in it all.
