Yes this is the main question.
Spend around seventeen years in sap. Want to leave sap.
I got in as had a passion for programming but don't want to continue with it.
Industry setup is poor,software uses so many technologies at one go that your energy gets siphoned off.
Till hana came,things were fine.But now,its next to no alternative.SAP makes XI,then say its not XI ,its PO,then says its not PO but PI ,then say its not PI,its CPI-DS.
This is not called giving learning to others but giving people a slow death.
What other alternates i can explore where atleast sap addon can be considered as an asset.
Having expertise in abap,pi,fiori.
Reason for leaving sap is complexity and stress it builds in a person life.
I can conclude ,it reduces your health, fun of life, social life, family relations,going to adventurous ventures and takes all flavours from your life.What you have in front are all blue screens,laptop and thats it.
Even it does not give you much on monetary terms.Not more than a senior professor of a good reputed university.
Every year a new product comes at door even when skills are not able to bud for their previous counter parts.
It seems some foolish entrepreneur is leading sap globally.
