shift to Business One

Hello Friends,

This is my first Post in Coffee Corner.

i have 2.5 years of work experience in SAP R/3, recently i am shifted from SAP R/3 to SAP Business One.

i have following doubts:

1. how about the Careers opportunities available in India for SAP B1?

2. Does SAP Business One plan to bring concept of ABAP and Data Dictionary in near future?

Hello ,

Its excellent to know about , you have knowledge of R/3 & going to be in SAP Business One .

You will learn a lot in SAP Business One , as far as B1 is concerned in INDIA .. it is famous ERP solution adopted by Mid Size Companies . you will get a chance to implemnt all modules in one Go.where in R/3 one cannot.

I don't think so , Internal tables or DDIC  will be used in SAP B1 , coz  SAP B1 Runs on its own Tables which are classified as Transaction or Master Tables , having great functionality of Add-on , crystal Solutions, Query Generator .

Thanks you so much RP for spending some time out of your busy schedule for discussions about careers available in SAP Business One,  in Coffee Corner.

i am really happy from your reply that there is good career opportunities available in SAP Business One in India.

yes, learning new thinks is quiet easy , and implementing all Modules at one Go is possible in SAP B1, where in SAP R/3 its not..

here add-ons work like ABAP!! and PLD's and Crystal Solutions as Smartforms and SAP Script..
