Setup SAP Test Environment

Hello,

I want to setup a test SAP environment at hom for study, and practice purposes.  I am very new to SAP. 

With my technical background I want to focus on ABAP, BI

I am pretty good at setting up environments, I just need someone to point me to the correct and proper downloads.

My question is really is there a developer type edition or trial edition for SAP that I can setup for study and practice purposes?
