Dear friends,
I came across this site and find it very interesting and helpful, especially people who are new to SAP like me. A quick introduction of myself, I am from Singapore, got my degree in Aircraft Engineering, but due to my passion and interest I decided to move into IT line. I posses ITIL v3 and MSCE and have been doing 1st and 2nd level overall IT support and administration for MNC and SME for more than 5years. At the moment, I am working for in a MNC as a Regional Infocomm Technology Engineer and part of my job scope is dealing with simple SAP administration like unlocking accounts, changing passwords and installation. In addtion, I will be completing my MBA next year May 2013. I would like to move into SAP but I am not sure how am I suppose to go about and in Singapore SAP job requirement are extreme high. Can any kind soul guide me on how should i go about landing a job on SAP? and which are the recommended module I should look into?
Cheers,
Brandon

Hii,
You can go to SAP BASIS Module....
For this you need to do Ceritification in the Module and you can use the domain experience aswell for hunting the job after certification....
Thanks

Hi Brandon,
You are well positioned to start your career in SAP Basis. In fact, if you are doing simple SAP Basis work at your current job, then you are *perfectly* positioned because that means you don't have to even change jobs! All you need to do is to let you bosses know that you want more SAP responsibility. If you show some initiative by self studying some Basis books, I'm sure you progress quickly. There are a bunch of links that you might find helpful at SAP Career Blog Links. I particular, you'll want to read FAQ for SAP NetWeaver Admin (SAP Basis) Careers and FAQ: Different Career Paths in SAP. There's also a series titled "Learning SAP when you don't have an SAP job already" that you might want to check out as well. The blog for Recent College graduates might be informative even though you're not a recent college graduate.
Hope these help!
Best regards,
