Hi SAP experts,
I have around 2 years of experience in IT.(1 year Mainframes Manual testing) & Around 1 year experience in SAP CRM.I worked on SAP CRM development project for 6 months, and now in SAP CRM 24*7 production support.Having worked on all the three job roles (Development, testing & production support) ,I feel I am more comfortable with QA/tester role. As I have already switched from mainframes to SAP,I do not want to switch to different technology again.
So,I am planning to join SAP Testing project. Please guide me whether I have to join SAP CRM testing or any other SAP Modules(like MM,SD).
Also,As far as my knowledge is concerned.. There are SAP Technical/functional guys. Not sure where does 'SAP testing professional' fit.
And what are the career aspects for SAP testing professionals. Does he come under "Functional" ? And is it good to choose it as a career?
Please guide me!

Hi Govind,
It is important for you to decide which module you like and does it sync with you education and experience. There are people who are experienced in terms of number of years but don't have great skills compared to their years of experience so it is important to build your skills by working in projects and learning business processes. You can do some research as to which module has higher requirement of consultants and do the comparison. Your comfort level and liking are the factors which will help you in deciding the module to learn and work. An organization may not have lot of technical guys but functional are required as business expands and requirement changes from time to time.
Good Luck.
