Iam currently working as an consultant for just 2 months. How to improve my career in SAP SD, as a certified beginner?

Want to know the areas which I should focus to stay competitive.

How to improve my career in SAP SD

First list out all standard SD process like

1. Factory sales
2. Depot Sales
3. Inter Plant Transfer
4. Export Sales

Try to practice the above scenarios with the standard configuration.  By doing so, you will become comfortable, at one stage.  Next try to copy the standard settings, change the configuration on your own, do test cases where you will face lot of issues due to improper customization .  Make a note of those, try to resolve on your own, if not, search in Google for inputs and solve the issue.  The more practice you do in the initial stage of your SAP career, will go a long way.

How to improve my career in SAP SD, 

1. Understand the concepts:

E.g.

- what is loading group?

- what is shipping point?

- how to configure credit management?

etc.

2. Constantly repeat the theory:

E.g.

- pricing (Very important)

- fields in schedule line category

- account determination

etc.

3. Follow issues in SD forums:

- read

- answer / comment

4. Follow members:

- who post quality posts

Want to know the areas which I should focus to stay competitive.

1. Pricing

2. Configuration settings in sales document types, item categories, schedule line categories, delivery types, delivery item categories, billing types

3. Master data e.g. CMR, MMR

4. Business processes
