I think both SAP and construction are totally different path. How big projects you have managed in your 4 yr exprience? Are you planning to change your carrier path to SAP PS?

I think Project management and SAP Project System are totally different.

Just go through the help.sap.com and search for Project system you will have an idea.

SAP PS would be the best option if you have the interest of shifting your career to SAP.But currently you are working as Project Manager,if you shift to SAP you have to start working as consultant and reach Project Manager level in course of time. But your domain experiance will sure add fuel to you career. When it comes to IT project management, it is somewhat diffrent from Costruction project management. So you may not get the role of PM immedietly.
