Hi,

what they told you is foolish and stupid. The market moves from one corner to the next and later returns to the original corner in the box ring. If there are not many open jobs for BI, this could be different tomorrow but it could also be true that functional consultants have more demand that BI.

You should better ask at SAP for a meeting and let them tell you what every module does, so that you cann choose according to your capacity and interests.

You´ll need sooner or later some programming skills, so you better consider this.

Hello Jorge Alonso,

Thanks for your reply...

I had inquiry In India For BI Training...SIEMANS , genovate etc. They all provide online training IN BI...I had asked them about the reason why they don't a tutor based training in BI..but they do not have any answers..may be i think due to lack of filling seats.

When i inquiry about BASIS module they told em BASIS training only given by SAP.

So my next move is towards PM(Plant maintenance ) and MM module, thought i am not aware in details of both modules..

What you suggest as per my background in IT field can i handle PM module?

Thanks

Yash

Hi,

the IT background self is not enough; you must learn about activities related to maintenance in a plant, which means some mechanical work, leading with staff, tools, services, processing times, suppliers, etc.

The story is the same in case of MM. You must lead with purchasing, logistics, distribution, disposition of row materials, purchase orders, delivery orders and a long etcetera.

Chech at [SAP Educatio|https://service.education.sap.com/sap%28bD1lbiZjPTAwMSZkPW1pbg==%29/bc/bsp/sap/hcm_learning/catalog.htm]n the available courses and what is expected in every course from you. Read also in the corresponding forums what PM and MM is all about.
