SAP Mobility(UI5,Fiori) and SAP ABAP HANA

Hi Experts,

I have 4 years of experience as a SAP ABAP Consultant. I want to learn new skills like ABAP HANA or UI5.

Please let me know which one is best in future and easy to learn.

Hi,

I think SAP UI5 / Fiori, is good in future and it is needed everywhere , but SAP HANA is a database and there is some statements to access it without ABAP., of course you need abap to program with HANA, but as I mentioned, HANA is a database,

but SAP UI5 is a good idea to learn. it based on JAVA Script and HTML and another technology

Dear Nagaraju,

In your company look at what kind of projects are about to come and if there is a chance for you to get into that project then learn that technology SAP HANA / Fiori accordingly.

Hi Nagaraju.

I think that depends on your skills and what tasks you preffer.  Personally I think SAPUI5 / Fiori is closer to what we do as Abapers because is programming.  You'll have to learn a little bit of Javascript, HTML5  and CSS3 but I think the learnig curve is better than learning HANA, which I consider that suits better to BI/BO consultans. 

Eventhough, HANA is another interesting option, but as Abaper I preffer SAPUI5.
