Hello,
from my point of view: you may wish to check SAP HR/HCM and Benefits module, where this is a part of the functionality.
I don´t know anything about the SAP Insurance module, you will have to wait for some more people to anwer your question.
Regards Otto
p.s.: to get the study materials the google could help a LOT;))

The Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable component is a sub-ledger developed for industries with a large customer base and a correspondingly high volume of documents to post. These include insurance, utilities, and telecommunications companies. This component provides standard accounts receivable and accounts payable functions including posting, payments, and dunning.
Learining FI-CA really helps to jump start with SAP insurance i.e. SAP FS-CD.

Hi Ramesh,
This is an old thread so hopefully you've got the answer now but incase you haven't. The best place to start from FICO with learning the insurance modules is in the ERP enhancement packs. The insurance modules collections and Disbursements (FS-CD) Incentive and commissions management (FS-ICM) and Claims Management (FS-CM) are all available in ECC6. Take a look at [SAP for Insurance Help|http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_05/helpdata/en/1b/0d723521faee41e10000009b38f889/frameset.htm]
In addition to these modules there are the more specialist modules of Policy Management (FS-PM) and Reinsurance (FS_RI) you'll find these on[ help.sap.com |http://help.sap.com/]under the SAp for Industries -> SAP for Insurance section. The link for the latest Policy management release (5.1) is here [FS-PM|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_pm51/helpdata/EN/fs_pm_index.htm]
Hope this helps. For training guides you'll need to speak to your local SAP education consultant. SAP for Insurance training courses are available on an as required basis.
Best regards,
Paul
