Hello Richa,

If you have good marks throughout in your education its very good and a plus point, but if you don't have then no need to worry. If you have good knowledge and your concept is clear then marks is nothing.

See some facts regarding Certification, ABAP Certification is not a job surety certification. Its a plus point for you to get a job. So don't take it like if i got good marks in certification then only i will got job. So just try your best to clear the certification and do update with your skills and some job portal sites.

Hello Richa,

If you have great academics then it's good but in case if you don't have a trend of securing first class throughout your education then don't worry. Companies look for the depth of knowledge and see how well you have gained understanding of the module. Certification adds value to your profile and your resume gets picked up easily when employers/recruiters search profiles in job portals.

Make sure all what you learnt in training is clear to you and you have practiced it well taking good business examples. Look for posts and queries in SCN on ABAP issues and see what was the proposed solution, see if you can simulate those in the SANDBOX/IDES so that you understand it well.

Make your resume in brief and put your skills in bold and to the point, attend interviews with confidence and you will do well. Make good connections with professionals via SCN, LinkedIn, FB Groups and update your CV once a week in job portals.

Good Luck.

Hi Richa,

Here in sap they won't consider %ages, mainly they will concentrate on  how much experience and  how much knowledge you gained  in particular Module what you choose in SAP like (ABAP/BI?BO),

This module selection will depends on your skills , if you are confident in coding then choose ABAP

If you do certification it will be added advantage to you.

Giri
