Solved: SAP HR suggestions

Hello Friends,

I am new to this community and to SAP as well. I need all your support and valuable suggestions. I wanted to build my career in SAP HCM, so joined a prestigious institution. Even though my classes are about to over but still i am not clear with much of the portion and not at all ready for interviews, I am badly in need of all your help.

Its a request that please try to answer my questions on basic understanding level even though it might sound silly. I want to learn, which is impossible without your support.

My first Question.

What is the role of a SAP HCM consultant in an organization? and what are the day to activities performed by a consultant in a implementation cycle and in a support cycle?

P.S - Please try to suggest some tips to increase my knowledge in SAP HR

in Implementation you have to play a vital role in all the stages of ASAP Methodology

in simple words from Starting of the project from the Scratch to Go live you will play an important role

when in comes to support cycle

it includes not only Solveing tickets it may include Upgrades , roll outs

in case if you want to Enhance skills

Try to gain knowledge on the Funtionality conceptually

Ex : if you are working in Indian Payroll try to know about the statutory reports such as PF , PTAX , ESI read the documentation and try to find out how we can Configure in SAP and try to analyse the out come

The Same in case of Personnel Adminstration , Organisational Managment
