so who got you the H1 visa then?

I'm asking because I worked two years in the US under an H1B visa ("skilled worker"...), which had to be sponsered by my employer, who of course would take care of sending me to SAP projects to make $$$ for them.

Well, that was 1996, things might have changed a bit since. You have to look yourself?
