SAP ERP 2005 v. SAP ERP ECC 6.0 v. SAP ERP 6.0

Hi,

I just wonder what's the correct and most up-to-date way of saying that you are an SD consultant. Here are some options I can think of:

1. SD module, SAP ERP 2005 consultant;

2. SD module, SAP ERP ECC 6.0 consultant;

3. SD module, SAP ERP 6.0 conultant;

4. Anyting else?

You know, I've read many articles, yet never met a clear answer. So, I assume there's a mess in all these multiple R/3 names in a way.

It will be SAP ERP 6.0.

I know this because SAP AGS Primary Support once told me that 'SAP ECC' will not be used anymore and will be disabled in

the further SP levels (which already happens for the latest SPs)

I tend to choose the last variant over the other two ones. However, I still don't get why the 'SAP ERP 2005'' term is so often to meet, too.

Hi,

The right option is the 3rd one in your list. ECC is the acronym for ERP Central Component, so your second option is incorrect. Your first option is what now renamed as the 3rd one.

Refer to service.sap.com to get to know the new branding
