SAP Career after 1 years of GAP

Hi,

I currently have an experience of 3 years as an SAP BASIS consultant of a support project in a reputed Indian company but I havent done Ceritification. I have been Preparing for civil services along with my job for last 3 years and now want to pursue it for full time for one year. I want to know what are my prospects of getting a job in SAP again after one year gap if I could not make it to services( to be realistic, its 100 posts on 12 lakh aspirants.) , although if I keep myself updating daily for some time with the latest in SAP.

Dear Ankit,

Good to know that you are trying for Civil Services.

I am not sure about the 1 year Gap.

But may be you can speak to HR and your Project Manager about your idea and see if they can rehire you.

Also you need to find if there is any policy for leave without pay for a longer duration.,
