SAP BI BW Consultant - Required ABAP Knowledge

Hi,

I am new to SAP Community and recently I leart SAP BI/BW 7.0.

I have a basic question, as a BI consultant what are minimum concepts to be known in ABAP. I would like to know how deeply a BI consultant must have ABAP knowledge to write the routines?

Kindly provide your comments, I shall study them accordingly.

Hi,

As a BI Consultant need to have abap knowledge it depends on Business Need's,customization max 40%.

ABAP Plays key role in BI : Modelling, Extraction, Reporting.

Hi,

BI related abap :  Basic knowledge  of abap like variable declaration,creating work area, internal table,loop stmnts,if else conditions,operational stmnts etc.

Better ABAP in 21 days book  will be enough to handle BI related ABAP.
