Please  assist  me for  choosing  Sap  as  a  career  !

I  am  sales  guy  having  8  years  exp , i  am  age  of  35  now .

I  want  to  quit  sales  field ,  and  to  join  SAP  as  a  career.

Your  guidance  is  important  !

Hello Abhijeet,

It sounds like you have a plan, do not rush through SAP is a lucrative career options provided it requires a lot of dedication and time initial days for preparing for SAP training and certification. Browse through the forums and get used to know SAP more in detail.

i would say SAP SD and SCM or any other module which may interest you can be explored for SAP career option.

Hi Abhijit,

Can you say your education details .

If you done Profestional degree or MBA its good to take SD or SRM modules in SAP.

Before that please read or R&D on SAP and modules  with SD.

Hi Abhijeet,

With your experience in Sales, SD matches the experience. Take sometime and go through the different modules of SAP and see which one you find interesting and your choice to learn and move ahead in career. Learning SAP (any module) from an authorized training is an expensive deal but has its own advantages such as it allows you to take the certification after training. Unauthorized i.e. other private training centers may have good trainers and may teach well but you won't be able to appear in the certification exam.

Hello,

First of all you will be treated here in SAP field as a fresher. Are you sure you want to join SAP.?

Second as all asked to join Some Module related to Sales.. but it's all depends on your interest.

so Google all module of SAP and try to get what they do.. and then decide...

You are suitable for sap SD.

You can study sap sales and distribution.If possible Please take the SD online course and do the certification and get the good job..
