Hi SAP Professionals,
I've my background in Travel Demand Modeling and Forecasting with around 6 years of experience with a Masters in Transportation Systems Engineering from US. I'm trying to make a career shift to SAP SCM or Demand Forecasting with a hope of good paying jobs in India. Could anyone please guide me the scope of SAP SCM and the prerequisite skills to enter into this field. Would it be difficult for someone who has more of a statistical background rather than hardcore programming background. Also is there any other SAP module (other than SCM) which may be more relevant to my background which is Transportation Analytics.
Best regards, Ajit

Hi Ajit,
Two options:
1. You can go for SAP SCM APO - Demand Planning
2. You have relevant education so you can check SAP Transportation Management 9.0
SAP TM is very niche skill in market and upcoming now. 4 PL and 3 PL companies are prefer to implement this module.
Check this SAP certification https://training.sap.com/shop/certification/c_tm_90-sap-certified-application-associate---sap-transp...
