SAP-ABAP Fresher

  Am a sap-abap trained candidate of 2013 pass out looking for a job .But couldn't find where the  interviews going on?So could you please help me what to do and please guide me where the openings are going on.

Dear Renwa,

May I suggest to get some live project experience while you are on the lookout for jobs as this will also give you a definite advantage in you job hunting. if you google with the following "sap training live projects" also get a lot of hits and based on your location you can choose

There are many sites you can google and you will get a lot of hits. I usually follow expertplug and timesjob.

I have applied in it but no response i have got from it up to now for freshers openings.

There is not much opening for Fresher in SAP field, usually companies prefer the college campus for freshers but its not like that freshers won't get any job, you just keep practicing on thing you have learned and keep yourself update on the Job Portal site and careers of company.

You can try for off campus recruitment happens in major MNC's. ( cut off marks will be different for each companies i.e more than 65 - 70 percent in all academics )

If you are selected, as you are trained in ABAP , you will be placed in project to work on ABAP.

Surely i will be  trying off campus but dont know where the openings are going on in India?I am proper from Hyderabad having aggregate more than 65%.

about off campus offers you may won't get from naukri or timesjobs. you better to follow fresher's jobs portal on facebook or company recruitment sites. just search on google about fresher's jobs groups and register.

if your checking about sap freshers jobs. its very hard to find as freshers in sap. because sap always prefers exp consultants. if you have any sap skills, do daily keep practicing and update your knowledge. keep update your resume on portals and keep searching. as per their requirement you may get calls.

if you have any relatives or seniors, ask them about opening at their company and apply it.

Yes there are lot of companies having their recruitment and they are not updating job portal sites some of them posting on their career and some of them hiring by internal reference so to get this kind of information you have to build your circle with persons who are actually looking for job and hard worker.

Hi Renwa Sharma,

My suggestion for you go same as for Purushotham...

1) You should start building your profile in LinkedIn

2) Add all your professor in it

3) If you have done any external project or intership in any company you should add them as well in your contacts.

4) Ask for their recommendation for all the contact you build in Linkedin.

5) Keep searching opportunity in all the source like Internet, Newspaper (not only Hindu) etc.... [ If fact i got my break in SAP LABS while I was going through Indian Express Newspaper) ] so don't limit by yourself by applying only online. Keep floating your resume.

6) Most important you should be confident and believe in yourself that you are going to get a job in ABAP and keep practing.
