Hi Devang,

Judging by what you said about having no domain experience and being a consultant for a few months, I would say it is way too early to even consider thinking beyond SD module. There are so many things you would need to know just to be called an SD consultant. Being an SD consultant is not about doing all the configurations. It involves providing a business solution. Configurations are the end-result of providing a business solution.

So my suggestion is stick around being an SD consultant and gain the experience. Know everything there is to know in the SD area and start providing a Business solution to your clients and then you could probably think of life beyond SD.

Devang,

pk has given some good suggestions! I would suggest in the same lines.

Reaping the benefits of SD will take 5 to 7 years of work experience. So stay with SD and keep learning for 5 years. This module is so vast that one would need to focus on this single-mindedly.

Going into what contents to focus on, certainly business process and its mapping in SD is one of the most important areas
