Hi All,

I have two year experience in ABAP but i would like to ask you one think

how to gain functiional knowlede, It would be benificial for me.

and I am not perfect in abap in all topic. Please give me suggession that

should i move to functional side or have to study more in technical field.

I find my self in a similar situation.

It is a well known notion that a techno-functional resource has more worth than a functional only or technical only on resource.

You are in a good position to be a techno-functional resource as you already have the technical knowledge and as you work on projects you will gain the functional knowledge.

So what i would suggest is to continue working on a technical front and pay extra attention to the functional aspects of whatever you are woking on ( which most technical consultants normally ignore).

Hi Arif,

In 2 years we cannot gain much knowledge of ABAP...its very vast field....don’t listen others...think yourself  area of interest...but it’s always advantage to learn specific functional area......please keep in mind one thought...don’t think about ABAP think only business, functionality automatically code will built...
