Hello,
I was working for last about 14 years as Vantive CRM developer. But since it is obsolete, I am trying to switch to SAP.
I found R/3 architecture similar to Vantive, and thought it would be easier to learn/switch ABAP. Do you think that would be a good idea? Will ABAP would continue, unlicke Vantive.
Thanks and Regrads,
nc

Thank you very much for your reply!
With NetWeaver, I found Java and ABAP can be used. If correct, which language do you suggest?

hard to say
it depends on yourself and the choice of your company
if you are already skilled with Java then go with Java
SAP says it support both language perfectly
but...
if you read books from SAP Press,
you will find ABAP a little preferable than Java
just personal opinion
i'm also fresh in this area
hope to study together
