Hi,
I am interested following areas:
any pre-requisites, prior knowledge to accomplish successful trainings in these courses?
and how important is the knowledge of ABAP or any other technical knowledge for these two areas...?
I am predominantly form business / Functional side but do kn ow a little bit about database, SQL queries, programming / OOPS concepts and other technical stuff. Do you think these could be right track for me

Its good to have basic SQL concepts before you step into SAP HANA and BW world.
Knowledge of ABAP not required.
If you want to learn from SAP online then register https://open.sap.com/
or if you want to learn from outsider then email to bwbohana at gmail dot com

Hi,
The SAP HANA Qualifaction courses that you can find in channel.sap.com is a good starting point.
It give the consultant a theorical course about database knowledge, etl, hana ...
To practice hana, you can request a hana sandbox from http://www.saphana.com/community/implement/hana-academy.
You can begin working with hana and bw without any prior programing skills.
But shortly, you will need some sql for advance use of hana, and abap for bw.
