I would suggest you to go for ABAP or UI5.

More information about both can be find on Google easily.

Hi Bharat,

as you have done coding priorily in .NET, i will suggest you to go with ABAP module, later on you can switch towards other modules related to it, as HANA, UI5.

Remember there are basically two branches in SAP, one is called technical and another is called functional, in technical side we have abap, basis, workflow, webdynpro, HANA, UI5 etc etc.

In functional side we have SD, MM , FI/CO etc etc which requires core domain knowledge .

But as you have done your engineering in Computer Science, and have prior coding experiences, so abap in sap is also a purely coding language in which you can make your career, only one thing is that

it is hard to get a job as an fresher in sap, so you have to take it into consideration too.

If have any further query, please revert.

Hi Bharat,

Since you have coding knowledge, it is better to go for ABAP. Doing certification will have an advantage and helpful to enter into SAP field.

Well the future is in UI5 and other web based languages, or role based apps like Fiori etc, but the future is there the present might not be, you have to invest in the right technology to be at the right time and the right place for tomorrow, spend some time studying the market trends, Jon Reed's Blog, SCN etc are good places to start with http://www.jonerp.com/content/blogcategory/49/62/

Best of Luck !

Hi Bharat,

as you wants to make your career in non-coding side , then you can take BI as an option, its one of the major module in sap having more job oppurtunity, and later on you can also move towards other related to it.

It's not immediately required that you add even SAP BO to your skill sets. I suggest you understand BI market out there, get a break and then upgrade your skills to BO as well.

Do some R & D on BI and BO. All the info required for you at this stage can be found on google.

Naren Krishna.
