I am Kumar currently working as a Business Analyst. I do forecasting and contract analysis to top aero engine manufacturing company for the past 2 years. Now I decided to change & fix my track to SAP.

I did sone analysis and found Siemens Information Systems Limited in bangalore is the best SAP authorized institute, but the cost for the training is a bit high. I am ready to invest the money on training but Iam little bit worried about few things

1. Is the training worth to pay such more amount?

2. Threare any other authourised institues in Bangalore for less fee and equal quality

3. Is my work-ex suitable to any module of SAP?

4. After the certification, will i be able to get a job easily( Directly through siemens/or self try)?

5. What is the ideal time for the preperation to me as i am entirely new to SAP and totally switching my path.

I did B.tech( electronics and communication) and MBA(Marketing). Please help me in choosing the right path. I dont want to have any uncertainty regarding my career at this point of time after spending so much of effort. All your suggestions matters a lot to me.

Regars,

Kumar

Hi Kumar,

As you know all  SAP authorized training centers having same set of fee structure.

You can choose class room training or online training depends on that cost.( Fee for online training is less compared to class room ).

You better go to training center. They will guide you.

Make points of what is the module you want to learn, is it technical like ABAP or functional modules like SD,MM,PP.

Mind it that SAP certification does not guarantee you a job.

heaps of information available on Google and Scn Website. Please go thorough following links.

Hi,

Narendra As per question put by you,

(1) SAP itself worth in crores of rupees. So initially spending  a few thousand bugs does not matter.

In SAP education sites you can get authorized SAP training institute in India.

There are 2 type of training-(1) OLT(Online Traning) (2) ILT-Instructor Led Training

Obviously OLT is cheaper (around Rs. 1.85 Lacs including certification). ILT is around Rs. 3.10 Lacs including certification.

BUT CERTIFICATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE JOB. Job you can get get by knowledge and skills.

(2) You can go for ABAP (technical module) or SD,MM,FI/CO any module. Go to SAP training page. There you can get idea about all modules.

(3) There is no ideal time. But atleast 6 months you should practice then appear for interview.

Best of Luck.
