Sorry, I just noticed your message. Pearson VUE is used much differently in North America than the rest of the world. I am the certification rollout manager in the US and Canada so my promotions only work in those countries.

Is it necessary to register and take the exam before Dec 31, 2010 to avail the 50% Discount? or Can I register now (Before Dec 31, 2010) and take the exam sometime early 2011.

The promotion codes are only valid until 12/31/2010 so the exams must be finished by then.

I've already signed up for TechEd 2012 in Las Vegas... but I can't seem to find anything on the TechEd website about a certification discount. (I'm thinking about taking a HANA certification while in Vegas.)

However, a discount is being provided to individuals who register for Tech Ed 2013 event occurring this fall. Information is made available during the online registration process.
