Hi, I have done my BE(Bachelor of Engineering) in Information Technology and currently working as a software developer. I have two years of experience in ASP.NET and SharePoint. I want to switch to SAP. I am bit confused about the SAP modules. And I would like to know the future of ABAP. Please suggest me some SAP module.

Hi,

If you are familer with coding, then you can learn ABAP.

If you are interested to work as sales then go for SD module, materails then go for MM,etc.,

Also you can go for any demos for sap for any institutions, then you will get good idea.

Hi Ajay,

Thanks for quick reply. I think, ABAP is best suitable for me but I'm just worried about the future scope of ABAP. I think MM is suitable for person having Mechanical as their branch in BE. And sales needs MBA. I don't know much the modules but this is what I think.

I have heard that there is a great demand in functional side of SAP. Is that true?
