New to SAP. Should start with SAP ABAP or SAP BI ?

Hi,

Myself Shafali Jain. I have a 2 years experience in analytics company ( mostly operational work deals with SQL queries, Excel, VBA).

I want to switch my profile and have interest doing SAP.

I am not sure should I go for SAP ABAP first , learn technical and coding part first and then go for BI or doing SAP BI is sufficient for me.

I don't have any problem with doing any programming stuff. Just need suggestion opting which will give a good career growth.

Regards

Hi Shafali,

If really do not have a problem with programming then the good choice for you will be abap. your experience in sql will also come in very handy here as there are a lot of table operations like reading from and writing to database tables.

Shafali,

I per my point of view you can go with

1.ABAP

2.HANA

3.ABAP For HANA

4.BI.
