New on SAP

Hi

I'm a IT Administrator from Caracas, Venezuela working for 15 years with Microsoft OS. Rigth now, I'd like to switch my career to SAP. I'm very interested on Basis.

Any recommendation for training material, test and scope for a newbie SAP Basis?

My best advice is to contact the Education Center. Theres also quite a few good books around that you can have a go at. And If you're feeling adventureous you can download and install the SAP Netweaver trial on the Download area here at SDN.

Also, Im moving this to the Career Center forum as its not a technical question.

Thanks my friend.

I got some books from SAP (TADM10, TADM12 & TADM51) from 2005. Are they still useful to work on way to certification?

I downloaded SAP NW AS ABAP TRIAL. It was Ok but I'm having problems with SAP NW AS Java Trial. The links looks like broken. Could you help me with another way to get it?
