Need Suggetion for Basis Admin Trainig course

I am long time Database Administrator and managing Oracle Databases under SAP landscapes for last 2 years. I have to move to become SAP Basis Admin. I would appreciate if you can suggest me good training course I must have to become good basis admin.

You have several possibilities, depending on the time and money you want to spend. These are the 3 courses (total 5 weeks) for the basis certification:

TADM10: SAP Netweaver AS Implementation and Operation

TADM12: SAP Netweaver AS Implementation and Operation II

TADM51: SAP NetWeaver AS DB Operation (Oracle)

If you already know the brtools, then you can savely skip TADM51. Alternatively you can only attend a single 5 day course as a start:

ADM100: Administration AS ABAP I

Goto www.sap.com and check out the course descriptions and the related courses.

Is it required to take "SAPTEC -Fundamentals of SAP NetWeaver Application Server" course before ADM100

No SAPTEC is optional, i think ADM100 is a good start. You won't be a good basis admin after that week, but you will see what you need to be one

If you want to be a certified then you need to go through class room training class. For SAP NetWeaver certification you need following cources.

ADM100

ADM102

and ADM5* one database (oracle ADM-505, maxdb ADM-515, sql ADM-520, db2 ADM-525)

Thanks for your reply. In short term I am not looking for any certification, I am would like to learn technology to become Basis Admin.
