Hello All,

I am from MFC (Master in Finance and Control) background from 2011. Soon after completing MFC, I was working with a financial audit firm but was never interested in finance so left it.

I started preparation for banking entrances, my bad luck from past 2 years I couldn't make into it.

Now I dont want to waste my time any more. I want a career in SAP, but I am confused which module I should prefer.

Need help from you all, please suggest.

Got to know from others like SAP FICO is very hard and needs indepth financial knowledge.

Please let me know for all your experiences, what should I go for.

SD, CRM, FICO or any other.

I have gap of 3 years!!!

Now I am at Hyderabad and have planed to enroll in demo classes to know better.

All your suggestion and guidance will really help me from a drowning career.

Thanks & Regards,

Sangeeta

I believe it is not possible to learn SAP FICO or any other module unless you haven't working as end user for several years. The 1 month course which costs a lot of money - is not the solution. Only after learning the basics, how to use the transactions and generate reports, you can go further in understanding how to set up the all this stuff in SAP.

And of course financial knowledge is needed, otherwise you will simply don't understand what is happening and how to fix the issues.

Maybe it is worth to try working at first in some company which runs SAP in accounting positions, after that you may apply for SAP key user.

And here is a good blog for this topic:
