I’m a B.TECH (ECE) passed out 2013.
I've knowledge on C, .NET, OOP.
I’m selected into a software company (CMM 3) as a fresher.
I am being trained on mobile application development. (Since 1 month.)
I want to move into SAP ABAP development.
Now I’m currently learning SAP ABAP and HR ABAP (from non SAP AG certified institute).
How good are mobile technologies to choose as a career?
Is it possible for me to show my experience as mobile app. Developer “AFTER A YEAR” and apply for jobs on SAP ABAP?
Should I continue with the present job or should I keep trying for a job on SAP ABAP?
What do you suggest?
Also please differentiate career growth of a mobile app. Developer and an ABAP developer.
Please give your valuable suggestion.
Thank you.

Mobile Technology are very good to adopt. In current market everything is now going to come on Mobile.

Is it possible for me to show my experience as mobile app. Developer “AFTER A YEAR” and apply for jobs on SAP ABAP?

Why don't you try in some mobile based development in SAP. In that you can show your experience too.

Should I continue with the present job or should I keep trying for a job on SAP ABAP?

Look last answer. now i would suggest you to learn mobile based development.

Also please differentiate career growth of a mobile app. Developer and an ABAP developer.

ABAP is equally good as Mobile App developer. Its depends on your perfectness on that particular module/domain.  Try with some mobile based Development in SAP. Now its new and hot cake in SAP market.

That is also good platform to work.

I suggest you SAP mobile over ABAP. As you said you are learning SAP ABAP, so i suggest you to learn SAP mobility based work too. I am not much aware of mobile based tech. in SAP, but i think it won't be much different from other mobile based tech..

Search on Google/SCN you will find some tutorial too for Mobile based solution, try to explore those, and find how much there are different from Android and iOS dev. Based on that decide to go further..

Firstly i assume you are interested in Mobile technologies and  SAP(ABAP) . I am not sure if you are aware of SAP Mobility platform. I requires a good understanding of Mobile technologies and ABAP Concepts. and its a budding technology now in the market.  Since you are interested in both I would strongly suggest you to go with this and choose the path accordingly.
