Hi,

I'm Bhargava with 11 years of overall experience in Banking (3 years), Investment Banking Customer Support (4 years) and Content Operations (Legal Editorial Publishing) (4 years). I have been in Managerial for most part of my career with some of the roles which include Data/Content Management, Service delivery Adherence, Data Analysis, Transaction Processing, Complaints/ resolutions and Queries management, People retention, Process implementation, Performance Management, Training & Development Client relationship management and Teller operations.

I'm seriously thinking to shift my profile to SAP and move into this part of the world. With the experience, I, have, I'm not very sure which module would best suit me.

I'm a MBA Finance Graduate from Osmania University.

Request someone to look into my issue and show me the right path.

Thanks,

Bhargava

I get the feeling that most of the work you have done is pointing towards customer service, you may also would like to take a look at SAP CRM.

I would rather suggest you to become a hard-core Functional Consultant in IT world. Your wide range of experience will definitely help you to become a functional guy. You must have got great business knowledge.

This will help in SAP career. I don't suggest you to become a tehcnical developer(Scratch Level) after working for 11 years in various areas. For the awareness, you can do some courses on your relevant modules in SAP.

After that, you can start approaching for different companies as a Functional consultant. You can project yourself as, you can understand the client in a better way with my past experience.

Suman

Thanks Suman. Could you also, suggest which course would be the right one to choose.

SAP BI with BO

SAP BI with HANA

Even though I'm MBA grad, I have never worked in core finance tasks. All of my experience has been with Content/Customer Operations in ITES (non techonology).

In my role, I have dealt with data and for short 2-3 years of my career, I have been the end user of BO for gathering, analyzing and using the data. I have also created few reports on BO, but its been a long time. Because of which, I'm alot confused as to which would be the best choice.

Please suggest me and it would be important for me get guidance from experts to take calculated risks for switching my career path.

Thanks,

Bhargava
