Hi SAP Experts,
I need right direction to get into the SAP Consulting profile. I have an overall experience of 3.4 years . Out of that, I have 1 years experience as a SAP SCM end user profile with Capgemini and 2.4 years experience in Sales and Marketing and I have also got the training of SAP SD module (Non Certified) 3 years back but still, waiting for the right opportunity. I tried alot to get the job into consulting profile but I got the opportunity as a end user with Capgemini but I am highly interested for SAP SD Consultant.
As per my knowledge , all companies are hiring those candidates who have 1 E2E implementation with minimum 3 or 3 + years experience and if I would not get any chance to work on Implementation or support project then how can I get the experience?
So, If there is any internship programme for Implementation or Support project then Please let me know and if not, then please give me the right direction to get the job in SAP Consulting.
Really I want to make my career in SAP Consulting only so please guide me how can I get the opportunity on the basis of end user experience?

I hope In experience of end user is not counted as consultant.
As you said you have the experience of 1 year in SAP SCM.
Then you have done a course on SAP SD. You said you got the opportunity as a end user with Capgemini.
Why you haven't joined that?
You can't be a consultant with out 3+ years experience.
I suggest join in SAP immediately as an end user or super user or core user.
Get the experience and knowledge. After 2 years apply in different company or demand in same company as a designation of Consultant.
You will get the designation of consultant with having 3 years experience.

Hi Dev Patra,
Thanks for your reply and presently, I am working with Capgemini as a SAP SCM End User and now I have 1 years experience as a end user.
Can I apply for consultant job after getting 3 years experience in end user?
Would this end user experience be countable for consultant job?

Sorry My friend..Unfortunately End user experience is not carried out to consultant experience.
End User-Super User-Core user-Associate Consultant-Consultant.
This is the chain of designation.
Each designation needs 1 year experience.
If you have 1 year experience then you must apply for super user designation.
Only Consultant experience is calculated with associate consultant only.

Rajeev,
I must say End user experience is important you understand the business aspect of SAP. which is the most skill for consultants. All you need is brush up some configuration skills in your specialization area to get started. Keep practicing with SCN Forum issues learn and keep learning
Keep trying highlight your learning in sync with your training while applying for Jobs. i would say a certified SAP training may get you a Internship or consulting Job. Keep trying you will get there.
Good Luck

Hi Hrusikesh,
Thanks for your reply.
Can I give the certification exam in out of India without getting training on SD module from Authorized Training Institutes like Lithan Gennovate, ATOS etc..? Because as you know , It is very costly to get the SAP SD Certified Training and already, I got the training on SD Module.
If there is any way then how can I apply for exam in that country?
If you have any link for the certification exam then please share with me.
Thanks & Regards,
Rajeev Monga.
