am new to the SAP World...!!..am planning to get trained in SAP Basis

can anybody help me to get some training materials in Basis...i don't know from where to start..please help me out

I recommend you visit training.sap.com for your country and look at the available courses. If you search SCN you will see a few posts for BaSIS advise

Hi Abhinash,

If you are already working as system administrator or network consultant then you can look for SAP Netweaver Basis.  Otherwise, if you are a fresh starter, you can check SAP HANA Administrator because, it is very hot in market and get you a job as soon in your career.

SAP Basis is already saturated and matured in market, so it may take a time to get your job if you start to study and looking for a job.

Training Materials - Deva, Colleen and Ronaldo already suggested most of the websites.

Look for the option SAP HANA instead of SAP Netweaver Basis.

Hi Gopi & All,

Thank you for your advice, as of now am working as a System Administrator in a MNC and my over all experience is 3 Years. I am planning into Basis however as i dont know anything about SAP i don't know from where to start so i searching through google and they are Apple & Oranges to me.

I think in present market Basis is also over saturated so am thinking to opt HANA as per your advice. Let me see where destiny takes me.

HANA is new  database from SAP and if you learn basis there are many option to get jobs but for there are no jobs bcaz it is very new to market and very few companies are going to implement that the company who implement SAP they need basis guy and they choose database as HANA you can learn HANA free of cost but only doing HANA very difficult to get job .................

Think twice before taking any hasty decision
