Hi, This is Venu and I'm a Mechanical Engineer with 3 + years of experience in design and Analysis in a service based reputed MNC.
I completed my post graduation in Thermal Field with a lot of expectations in Technology.
But after 3 years i feel there's no growth to be happening and i would like to take a change in career path.
Many of my colleagues has suggested to opt SAP MM where work will be challenging and growth at same time in a good shape. I have no prior experience with this ERP Package. But i have goggled a few articles regarding the MM and I feel like they are Most of BE Industrial Management related stuff like inventory, Procurement and i feel I can make through but only worry is that do i make a career out after the course.
So I would request you guys to help me out with your valuable experiences and suggestions.....
Is that I can make a career with SAP MM or any other Modules
Thanks in Advance...
Have a gr8 day
Venu

Hi Venugopal,
Though you have 3 years of domain experience which is good, but to make career in SAP you should go for certification.
Finding a job in SAP is a bit tough & you will need to put a lot of effort to enter in.
Its better join some classes & start preparing yourself 2 months prior going for certification. Once you enter SAP it will be easy to move forward.
Please let me know if you have any queries.
Regards
Pratik

Hello Venu,
Good decision man to move into ERP.
You have an experience in Design and Analysis field, have you done any planning of the product in your 3+ years.
If so go for APO modules, DP, SNP, gATP, PP/DS.
