Need Advice on Technology change in Career

Hi All,

Myself Imran a first timer on this community having 6 years of exp with Microsoft technologies (.Net framework, C#, ADO.Net, SQL SERVER) but not satisfied with my professional growth so want to move towards SAP BI, but not assured about it.

Following are the questions which I am looking to get answer from here.

1) To move from one technology to other at this stage of my professional career is OK or not?

2) What is the scope of SAP BI & its pre-requisite?

3) Is there any best institutes for these courses in NCR.

Dear Imran,

1. Its a personal choice if you want to move into SAP.....Career in SAP is always good.....However never leave your existing job unless you get a job in SAP....I have seen many people who leave their existing jobs and get trained in SAP and they do not get jobs and are frustrated.

Without experience getting a job in SAP is difficult.

My suggestion is get trained during your free time and search for jobs but never leave your existing job unless you get a job in SAP.

2. BI Scope is good. You are a technical guy so you can understand BI.
