Dear Experts

I've completed my MBA - Finance in 2011 and though scored top marks in finance related subjects, unable to find a suitable job which can help me to grow. May I Please request you to please provide me the guidance of taking some higher course which can shape my career better.

I have a thought of going for SAP-FICO course,, I would like to know is there any pre requisite to join this course e.g. candidate having any technical knowledge in some language or tool... Please let me know your input on this.

Also apart from SAP - FICO if there is any other suggestion please feel free to reply... Looking out for your guidance.. Many Thanks

Regards

Anket Doshi.

There's no official "pre-requisites" to become a FICO consultant. But companies look for a solid background. This could be either a few years of domain experience or a strong degree like an ICWAI, CA etc (assuming that you are in India).

An MBA does help too, but then you who else will be vying for your jobs. If you are confident of beating them, then yes, SAP FI-CO can be a career option for you.

Dear PK

Many Many thanks for the input which you have provided....

PK, Other Experts

Apart from SAP FICO, is there any other path which a MBA Finance guy can take on to get some good opportunities which has great scope of growth.

For e.g. let's say if a guy has done his B.Tech in computer science, then he can be suggested to go for software development or software testing, under software development again he has various options related to various technologies... So similarly, after MBA Finance are there any options ??

Thanks and Regards
