Hi,

ABAP is not a module - it is programing language in SAP system.

Module is e.g. FI, MM, PM, IS-U, IS-M, SD and so on.

Hi Kiran,

I am giving you examples of my friend who are in ABAP. They wanted to shift to functional from Technical . SO what they did was actually, they have learnt the modules which they were using during ABAP development time ( Mainly Tables they used related to that functional module, Business Process they are using for Technical development purpose.)

One of My friend was in ABAP for 3 years, he mainly worked for ABAP -- SD kind of thing, so he took SD when he was trying to shift to functional domain.

Hope this helps.

Regards

One year of experience in ABAP is too less to think about learning new modules. I would recommend you gain knowledge and experience on various advanced areas of Netweaver ABAP, work on ABAP for another atleast 3 years, and then maybe start looking into other modules.
