Hi All,
I need a career advice. I have total 6 years of experience in SAP ABAP. I have mostly worked in enhancements, interfaces and Adobe forms. I also have good working experience in SD. Now I am looking to take my career to next label and I am in dilemma in below two paths which would be better for me. 1. Learning SD more deeply and practising it in sandbox system and get certified in it and become a techno functional guy and look for jobs. Do you think with knowledge in SD only with a very little project experience can I get a break into techno-functional job? Is there enough job opportunities of SD techno functional consultants?
2. Learning BI/BW-HANA and practicing it and try for SAP HANA jobs. I am a quick learner and I have basic knowledge in HANA already. I have also very big interest in data analysis, also completed your course from OpenSAP. Do you think with ABAP experience with only knowledge in BI/BW/HANA profile can atleast get few interview calls. Is this type profile can get a call in interview? Any of the path I take I am willing to take the certification. It will be great help for me to take decision if I get yours expert opinion. Looking forward for your response.
Thanks & Regrds,
Priya

Hi,
There are lot of changes going in SAP with S4 HANA you better opt for that but mean continue in the main stream with additions in your Skill sets

hi priya,
from your two options HANA is the best pick,
sry to say , why dont you try to learn UI5 and FIORI tech , those are going to change the total sap era...there would be so many opportunities awaiting , hope you could be the one for your better career.
best regards,
