Hello ,

I am trying to be a techno functional consultant , as per my knowledge you need to have below skill to work as techno functional consultant.

--> knowledge on ABAP Dictionary ( table creation/ domain/ data element/ fields/ structures/ different data types/ etc)

--> Simple Programming : logic to read a program in a better way and able to write simple program , it some times required to write some code in query.

--> Data migration : process and creating of path to files to upload during data migration

--> Debugging : important debugging skill

-->ABAP Query (SQ01 and SQVI)

--> Finding User Exit, BADI, BAPI and Table

--> ALE, IDOC and monitoring

Thanks

Om

Hello,

yes, data migration i can say in LSMW , BDC's it is good to have knowledge on that area.

It will add Major advantage in your career, being a SD consultant you should know WM and MM as it is highly integrated with each other.

if you add technical skill than you have sky is a limit.

i started my career as a MM consultant than later i upgraded my skill to WM and SD.

i will provide you later some document to start up with ABAP, it will be helpful to you.

thanks

Survandnya- Sir ,

thanks for your precious suggestion and wise encouraging ...

actually , nowadays you know the sd module is getting a bit of crowded - a lot  ppl move with sd ... ... so , i think for career betterment and future prospect it's better to blend with technical  knowledge ....

Anyway , thanks a lot sir ....just make a humble request - if possible , send some necessary start-up ABAP documents to my inbox ....
