Dear Gurus,

I would like to ask one question regarding my first job.

I am certified SD consultant and passed my certification on 29th Oct 2013.

I am fresher and waiting for right opportunity. One company is offering a job on contract basis.

Contract is of 1 year and location is Daman.

Job will be either of Support or Implementation.

I am into dilemma whether to accept this contractual job or wait for other opportunity.

Regards,

Abhijeet.

Hi Abhijeet,

remember that getting a job for fresher in sap field is too tough, so irrespective of the nature of job (support, implementation) you should grab this opputunity, because if you will loose this opputunity , not only your seniority will get dropped but also you will lack of experience, let us suppose ( i am not wishing for it ), that you have to wait another six or 1 year to get a job, in the mean time many fresher will do certification, so ultimately you have to get a competition with new freshers along with other freshers, and in this time if you take any oppurtunity then not only your experience will be counted but also you will segregated with these freshers.

And ultimately , you will be in a world where you will be known as experienced, so as acccording to all above post, me too suggesting you to take this oppurtunity without any hasitation, start a new life.

Best of Luck.

What exactly do you mean by "Contractual" job? What are the Terms and Conditions of the job?

Going by the trend of how difficult it is to get your "first" job in SAP, I would grab it - with both hands - even if Im not getting paid!!!

I would say go and grab the opportunity without second thought, This thought must come in your mind while you are working somewhere with permanent position and moving to some "Contract Position'

You are a fresher if you leaving this Opportunity you will be fresher, right ??

but if you are taking this, you will be getting some experience for sure and if you performed well in your work, then there will be a chance to get permanent  too..

Abhijeet,

I am agreeing with other two people. Grab this opportunity.

Better opportunity will knock the door. But getting real live experience is difficult to get in the world of SAP.

Hence go and grab.

LIFE IS NOTHING MORE THAN THE GAME OF NUMBERS. MORE RISK YOU TAKE MORE REWARDS YOU WILL RECEIVE.

Thanks & regards,

Supriyo

Hi

i also will reccomend to grab the oppurtunity

dont take comfort zone at starting of job

so u will have oppurtunity  to brush what u learn instead of being ideal

Thanks
