Hello everyone,
I have completed my Bcom followed by completion of PGDM-Finance. I passed out this year it self.
From past 6 months i am working in a MNC, i am currently working on Baan ERP.
I am interested to go for a SAP FI module.
There are some basics questions in my head such as..
Q1) should i go for FI module or FICO module?? what is the major difference??
Q2) Is there any job surety after completion of SAP certification??
Q3) which companies recruit SAP FI Freshers?
Q4)is it worth spending a huge chunk on SAP Module?
As most companies use SAP nowadays, i have good experience on Baan ERP,
Si if i wish to switch to a MNC which uses SAP erp, i should have the knowledge of i t??
Kindly help.
Thanks a ton!!

Hi Akshay,
SAP FI is the base module for all SAP Implementation, so no doubt on that.
Q1) should i go for FI module or FICO module?? what is the major difference??
Difference between FI and CO | SCN
Q2) Is there any job surety after completion of SAP certification??
This is not guaranteed, it depends on the market and companies you are searching for.
Q3) which companies recruit SAP FI Freshers?
Its very difficult to answer, it depends on each companies. If i have a project and shortage of exp. consultant, i prefer to go a certified fresh consultant than a domain consultant.
Q4)is it worth spending a huge chunk on SAP Module?
Its always worth, but you need patience for minimum 2 years, then only you will know the SAP market value.
Regards
