I'am a student studying for Diploma in Computer Engineering(Final year),I'am interested in programming and other technical aspects.

Is there a chance for me to become an SAP consultant?

Hi Aalap,

Yes, it's possible! I've worked with brilliant SAP Consultants from all kinds of academic backgrounds (engineers, administrators, accountants, marketing, etc).

Consultants that have Computer Engineering degrees have the advantage of academic preparation in relational database design, programming, debugging and other useful tools that can come in handy when working with SAP.

If your interest is in programming, I strongly encourage that you get acquainted with ABAP which is the language in which the SAP R/3 (ERP) platform was developed.
